Tweefontein Herb Farm is an herb farm located at 4 Jenkins Road in New Paltz, N.Y., which produces organic and holistic herbs for edible and cosmetic purposes.
They grow as many herbs as they can on the farm, and the herbs that aren’t grown in their zone are sourced organically and fair trade. All of the tinctures and elixirs are made in the original homestead that was built in approximately 1830, and shopping in the house is such a comfortable and uplifting experience. They have so many great herbal tinctures to choose from which are shelved alphabetically and offer guidance to find the right fit for relief. Many of the salves and balms are extremely effective for healing dry, cracked skin, especially for individuals suffering from eczema and psoriasis. They have quite the following for many of their signature products such as calendula face toner, hair and scalp spray, and lavender balm. For those with more sensitive skin, they will be offering a new topical line called “Sensitive Soul” and these new products will be topical, unscented, and made with raw organic oils.
The beautiful crystals throughout the shop are sourced from family businesses in Uruguay, South America, and Africa and they really try their best to keep prices affordable so that you can explore the stones without spending a fortune. Crystals arrive weekly so there is always something new to find.
